DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Price Soars to $799
## DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Price Surge Hits $799 Amidst US Stock Shortages

The price of DJI's popular Osmo Pocket 3 camera has skyrocketed to $799, a $280 increase in just two months, representing a 54 percent jump. This follows an earlier price hike from $519 to $619 in April. DJI confirms the increase is not an error, citing "key considerations" including US tariffs, though not solely attributing the price change to them. The Creator Combo, which bundles the camera with accessories, has seen an even steeper increase, rising from $669 to $979.

These price increases are exclusively affecting the US market, despite high global demand. The Osmo Pocket 3 remains at its original price in the UK, Europe, and Japan, where it was reportedly the best-selling video camera last year. DJI attributes the camera's success to positive word-of-mouth among both professional and casual users. Despite the price hikes and high demand, the Osmo Pocket 3 is currently out of stock at most US retailers. This stock shortage extends to many other DJI drones, with several models unavailable on the company's US website and other major retailers.

DJI suggests that US customs issues, alongside trade policies, are contributing factors to the supply chain problems. The company faces potential future challenges including a possible automatic ban on its products starting in 2026. While DJI states it remains committed to the US market, it acknowledges challenges impacting product availability and is working to address the situation.

Workarounds exist for consumers seeking the Osmo Pocket 3 Creator Combo at a lower price. Amazon is offering international shipping from Germany, but with an additional $71 in estimated import taxes, bringing the total cost to approximately $726. Amazon US also lists the camera-only version on backorder for $639. Despite the price increases and stock issues, DJI assures consumers they are working to restore product availability. However, the company has not yet adjusted pricing on its drones or other products.
