FBI: International: Agent Booth Returns April 8th!
Fans of CBS's *FBI: International* will be thrilled to see the return of Special Agent Tyler Booth (Jay Hayden) in the April 8th episode, "Dead Dead." This marks Hayden's return after his character left for the United States in episode 10, "Keep Calm and Deliver the Biotoxin." Booth's reappearance will provide a welcome boost as the show's fourth and final season winds down. The series was recently canceled by CBS and will conclude with a two-part finale airing May 13th and 20th.
In "Dead Dead," the Fly Team travels to the Swiss Alps to investigate the disappearance of a psychologist with national security intelligence. They will be aided in their investigation by Booth, who will be working alongside his former partner, Special Agent Mitchell (Jesse Lee Soffer). The episode will also feature unsettling news for Mitchell concerning his biological father. This reunion between Booth and Mitchell is highly anticipated, as Soffer previously described Hayden as "one of my best friends in the world" and expressed excitement about their on-screen dynamic.
The final two episodes of the season, "Herbivore Man" and "Gaijin," will involve a complex international investigation. In "Herbivore Man," the Fly Team, after an American student and sex worker is murdered in Budapest, will partner with Tokyo detectives due to similarities to a previous case in Japan. The investigation continues in "Gaijin," revealing a serial killer and taking the team, and Mitchell, to Japan to solve the case. Prior to the final arc, this week’s episode features the return of Mitchell’s ex-girlfriend, Ella (Jade Tailor), to assist with a case involving an extorted CEO and kidnapped family.
Booth's previous appearances this season saw his friendship with Mitchell nearly jeopardizing their careers due to breaches of protocol. His departure was preceded by an incident involving Smitty (Eva-Jane Willis), who nearly left the Fly Team over their actions. The upcoming episode promises an amicable reunion, providing fans with a satisfying conclusion to the Booth and Mitchell storyline within the broader context of the show's final season.
